Lady Gaga does a meaty number, again...

To be honest, I am getting tired of this woman's antics. She started off by being edgy, following steps set out by style icon, Daphne Guiness, and proved to be able to fill her boots and go beyond that and now she's turned into a hot mess that touches on topics that are, perhaps, far beyond her intentions. It's all getting a little dull! How about sticking to the artistry which you introduced yourself with?

She wore DeGorge couture pieces by the likes of Lee McQueen and Armani (Prive, that is) and made fashionistas (and bloggers alike) to take notice of her... we couldn't wait to see what she'd wear at any event until this came along...

I get it, take a stab at animal rights activists AND, ironically, get some kind of reaction from the Fur-loving/wearing/using people. I get that, I think. It is one outfit that actually taps into the human psyche and allows you to ask when too much is TOO MUCH...

This outfit is no different from her using fur, in fact it's probably better given that the methods of killing animals for meat are much more humane than those of fur (I mean, this could be halaal meat for all we know) and yet there's an uproar that questions her morality - questioned by some fur-wearing, leather stiletto-trotting hypocrite who'd rather see an animal inflated with gases and force-fed before going for the chop to preserve the fur's integrity than to see Gaga wearing a smelly (I can only imagine), meaty number. Doesn't this make you question the moral fibre of our society?

I hate the outfit, do not get me wrong - it is an eye-sore (but so are many people's outfits), tried picturing it in Hessein which would've probably suited this dress more than all the other traditional materials and no, can't see beauty - but I have no problem with it (as with fur - do not gun me on that one)... if she chooses to be ridiculed to make a strong - and hopefully inspire change (be it with the "all for furs" or "all against fur")- statement, then props to her...

but eeuw! a little salt and pepper and a run through a furnace would make this outfit a little more, umm... palatable.
